Default 2 queations: Nec Weapon and Lonars Pass Hard ?

Hi, first post here...

I have been playing as a R/Ne level 20, and think lonar??s Pass and The Falls for an example are damn hard to complete.

Should it be that hard ?

And other question is:

What weapon should a Necromancer have ? Any Staff or Wand ?

Thanks

Lornar's pass is not the normal route through the game, take the other exit to carry on to the rest of the missions. Anet has provided a route to Droknar's for those that wish to skip some content, usually those who have already beaten the game and are just looking for elites and max armor.

With Factions it is even easier to go from LA to Kaineng to accomplish the same thing and you don't have to pay a runner for it.

The Falls isn't so hard, depending on what you are trying to do. I solo farm totem axes there with a ranger or warrior. That is running past the trolls and other critters though.

Casters in general should be using either a staff or wand/focus that enhances their build. For a death necro you're looking for things like +energy, 20/20 fast cast/recharge, +1 to Death (20%). Apply that to the primary attribute of any caster for a basic setup, keeping in mind that +health or +armor may be good for some also.

I think when he says "to complete" he means for the cartographer title?

In that case, yes, Lonar's Pass is hard to complete, it is unusually filled with monsters to make it hard on droknar runners.

I can fight my way up through Lornar's via Camp Rankor, with seven
lvl20 henches. I don't think it's possible to fight you way down with
5 lvl10's though. It should be manageable with six good real people,
but I've never been able to find six with the .... courage to try it.

The Falls isn't all that hard once you accept that you're going to have
to pick them off one group at a time. I've cleared it with all of my
characters. I don't have a necro, but my wife does. She's also gone
through it. So it's doable with a necro and henches.
